ICT STEERING COMMITTEE - (ICTSC)

INTRODUCTION

ICT STEERING COMMITTEE (ICTSC) UNIVERSITY

The Information Technology Council (TITC) of UMK was established in 2009 and is responsible for the overall development of ICT.

In 2011, the University ICT Council (UICTC) conducted a review where several key functions of the council were enhanced in line with the improvements made at the MAMPU level in 2009 in ICT management through the establishment of the ICT Steering Committee and the ICT Technical Committee.

In 2011, the rebranding of the Information Technology Council (TITC) to the Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC) was carried out as an effort to strengthen the governance of the committee in determining university ICT policies and conducting monitoring, alignment, and evaluation of ICT projects at UMK.

Furthermore, ITSC is also responsible for setting and formulating ICT security measures, including certifying policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance with government circulars and directives.
